Alouette Lake trip

View on Alouette Lake in Golden Ears Provincial Park

Yesterday we took a little mid-week break from the hustle and bustle and went to hang out with our friends at the Alouette Lake in the Golden Ears provincial park.

This place has no cell coverage, which allows to disconnect for a bit. Usually we go camping there for a few days, but this time we had a scheduling conflict and only were able to go for a day.

Our friends set up a sauna in a tent on the shore of the lake, so after getting blasted with heat, it's especially nice to have a dip in the cold mountain waters.

Here's some pictures I took...

Last one has a very characteristic swirly bokeh of a Soviet Helios 44 lens.
