Podcast Episode 94: A little retirement
Hello everyone. In today's episode we chat about my little retirement preview π. I'm spending more time with the family and less time thinking about work.
We chat about some anecdotes of people saying they are losing coding skills after relying on AI too much. I also outline my long-term strategy of retaining my fundamental knowledge and charging a premium for it, once a lot of is lost to AI complacency.
Would you watch a Self-driving Formula 1? To me it seems kinda ridiculous. As well as some platonic ideal evolution of football, where everything is tracked and analyzed into oblivion. When a game devolves into a fully solved variant of Tic-Tac-Toe, what is even the point of watching it? It's like watching RNG's spit out numbers and seeing whose is bigger...
We are approaching 100 episodes, but not much to show for it... There's probably enough material to just auto-generate all the subsequent ones, and save myself the costs of production. π€£
